Good business comes from healthy relationships. We work with individuals and businesses we find intriguing, that have potential, and “get” our way of thinking. We take on projects that "turn us on". We have played in a lot of fields over the years, but are particularly known for our work with hospitality brands (restaurants, bars and hotels), food & beverage, consumer products, startups, tech ventures, digital brands, fashion, non-profits… and we have a thing for small businesses, too. We don't choose our projects based on an industry, but rather focus on their potential.
Results are exponential when they stem from a common effort. We often craft strategies in collaboration with PR agencies, interior designers, architects, marketing departments, and help them achieve the goals they have set for their clients. With us on board, agencies can propose a broader range of services to their clientele, while being able to dedicate their own time on what they do best. We take care of the rest.
It’s small, and that’s a major plus for you. We are a lean team with large cababilities. Keeping our core strategic and design team small, while collaborating on occasion with designers we trust for specific projects, allows us to keep our overhead low, and pass those savings onto you. Bigger is not always better, and certainly not when it comes to operating a smart business.
It’s possible, but it’s highly unlikely. Projects come in all shapes and sizes, but all share a common denominator: the need for a thorough, efficient plan of action, followed by flawless execution. We work with a multitude of businesses of all sizes (literally, from Fortune 500 to the butcher next door), and make a point of crafting solutions that match their expectations and capabilities. We wouldn’t be very good at our job if we were not able to scale it to our clients’ needs, right?
We are very straightforward in our agreements, and hate unexpected expenses. As consultants and creative directors, we usually charge our clients a monthly retainer fee based on the amount of work required to achieve the objectives we have set. All our design work, from ideation to creation, is included within that one flat monthly fee. Some projects are however better suited for a flat fee, in which case the total cost is function of the scope and timing of the project.
We play nice with others! Our larger clients often have an in-house existing team, responsible for specific tasks, and we love collaborating with them. We also understand the work of PR agencies, advertising agencies etc. and are happy to create strategies that make the most of their capabilities in order to deliver the best ROI for the client.
With offices in Oregon and California, the Imagists is decidedly a West Coast company, but our reputation regularly brings us all over the world. We currently work with brands in the United States, in Western Europe, as well as in Asia, and are always looking forward to expanding our horizons!
Our design team represents 90% of our task force, but we sometime contract expert designers for talent-specific projects. We value face-to-face interaction with our designers, and only work with people we have thoroughly vetted and have a proven record of excellence and professionalism.
